A Little About This Space

This delightful F&B space for rent in the East Village, is in a red-brick building with a green-framed, double French door entrance. It has a painted tinplate ceiling, drop-down spotlighting, and a bar. It also has a covered patiol. You’ll be on the Lower East Side, universally recognized as one of New York City’s most historically significant areas. Working class immigrants from all over the world arriving at Ellis Island during the turn of the last century often settled here, and their influence can still be found everywhere in the now trendy neighborhood. You’ll find an array of cuisines represented here such as MaLa Project, serving spicy Chinese cuisine, a block away. Café Mogador, offering Moroccan fare, is less than two streets over. Thai restaurant Somtum Der, is a short walk away.

THE CROWD

You’ll find a young crowd of artists, creative professionals, and students living, dining, and hanging out in the LES at any time of the day. The restaurants, bars, and lounges draw steady crowds of undergraduates from nearby New York University and Baruch College. The LES’s historic significance, as well as its proximity to Chinatown and Little Italy, bring in tourists on weekdays and weekends alike. The area is also known for its late night bar/lounges, ensuring a steady and diverse crowd at all hours. They head to laid-back bars like Sophie’s, and Josie’s, less than two blocks away. They also dine at restaurants such as Pardon My French, serving Gallic fare, one block over on 6th Street.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS

You have Death & Company, a stylish bar, further down the street. There’s also the Pineapple Club, a modern American restaurant, around the corner. Korean restaurant Oiji, is less than two blocks away.
