A Little About This Space

Curtain Road is a major thoroughfare through Shoreditch with bars, restaurants and creative studios. Looking onto Curtain Road, this glass-front space was originally used as a private dining area as part of Ballie Ballerson's main events venue. Now, it's available to rent for pop-up retail, events or beauty businesses.

The crowd

Creatives, artists and hipsters rub shoulders in this young and hedonistic part of town. Expect mostly 20 and 30-somethings plus more than a smattering of tourists at the weekends. Surrounded by bars, clubs and restaurants, weekends will be particularly busy but you can reasonably expect a steady crowd throughout the week, too. Shoreditch High Street station is a four-minute walk away.

Meet the neighbours

This space sits next door to Ballie Ballerson, the bar with a playful twist, and Sagardi, a Basque restaurant with a built-in butchers. Opposite is the legendary Hoxton Pony cocktail bar.

Rules of The Space

This space is available to rent five days a week (weekdays) only, unless the brand is happy to close over the weekend and reopen on Monday.

Any changes to the space must be approved by the Landlord, but all ideas are welcome.

Brands must provide their own POS system and be responsible for all staffing.

Home Truths

You have to enter the events venue to get to this space, both of which are separated by a curtain.

The windows (as seen in the pictures) are currently frosted out from a previous event, but these stickers will be coming off.

The Landlord won't accept F&B ideas as this would be in conflict with their own business.

This space is closed on weekends, due to the increased number of visitors and noise levels.
