With its bohemian, hipster vibe, eclectic shops and energetic nightlife, Hoxton is a definite shoe-in for the title of “London’s coolest neighbourhood”. Full of character with its exposed original brickwork and industrial-style fittings, this Victorian railway arch houses an event space with a kitchen and bathroom at the back.
You’re only one street behind the busy Kingsland Road, but a world away. Weekdays will see some of the Silicon Roundabout and City workers that live around here going to and from work. On weekends, art lovers and fashionistas head to the Hundred Years Gallery and designer vintage shop House of Liza around the corner, and fans of Fabrique Bakery’s coffee and cardamom buns flock to their café near Hoxton station (five-minute walk).
There’s a photographic post-production company to one side of this space. Opposite is residential.
No amplified music without prior agreement.
This is a pretty quiet area, but this event space works well as a destination.
