Great Jones is Noho’s biggest little street, with a history that’s equal-parts Warhol-eccentric and Astor-upscale. Today, it’s one of those magical anomalies only New York can get away with: a street that’s just as at home with tourists as it is residents. Perched on the corner of the area’s most famous alley is this retail space for rent.
Affluent locals, young professionals and NYU students drift over around midday and in the evenings for the artisan coffee, hip restaurants, and theater companies. Expect weekend tourists on a pilgrimage to known sites like the Astor Place Cube and Bowery Mural. You'll also spot gym-goers heading to and from SoulCycle, most likely working off that almond croissant from the neighboring La Colombe coffee shop or Lafayette grand café and bakery. The area is easily accessible by the Broadway-Lafayette St. subway stop.
You’re next door to a former frame shop, and a few doors from a few of the area’s chicest restaurants, including ACME, ATLA, Vic’s, and the referral-only eatery, Bohemian. The grand Lafayette French cafe and bakery is opposite. Cult luggage brand, Away, opened their first concept store round the corner.
We don't have a floor plan for this space yet, so bring a measuring tape to your viewing.
