A Little About This Space

Great Portland Street is home to various independent fashion retailers and down the road from Oxford Street, London’s busiest shopping street. Tank Magazine's HQ currently has some space available to rent, so you’d be sharing this space with them but can still make areas of it your own. You'll have access to the whole area to the left on the ground floor and the entire basement.

THE CROWD

Focusing on arts and pop culture, Tank’s creative staff will be the most permanent visitors to your space. BBC’s Broadcasting House is around the corner on Portland Place, so you might get a few famous faces too. This area is pretty active throughout the night, but the offices close at around 6pm. Oxford Circus station is a five-minute walk away.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS

There are a block of flats and a Ryman’s stationers on one side, and an architect/interior designer on the other. The spaces across the road are undergoing a lot of developments at the moment.

Home Truths

Tank Magazine will generally close their office at the end of the working day, so you might have to work out an arrangement with them if you want to stay open late. Their branding’s already in one section of the front window, so promoting yourself means you need to share the window space but there is ample room.

Tank Magazine's employees will be accessing the shared entrance only throughout the day.
