What was once industrial warehouses has now been transformed into East London’s vibrant creative and collaborative space, Hackney Downs Studios. You’ll find all kinds of creative talent in its 300+ studios, including independent craft shops, markets, workshops, on-site cafe and communal spaces. Located in a charming courtyard along Amhurst Terrace is this retail space to rent (a former plant shop) with a sink.

THE CROWD

The studios is a family-friendly organisation with 600 residents on site. You’ll find everyone from young professionals to yoga lovers and cycling enthusiasts stopping by to and from work during the week. Throughout the day, artsy-types and families come to sample the shops, visit Hackney Downs park, and enjoy lunch in the on-site cafe. Saturdays and Sundays are busiest when the weekly Vegan market sets up in the yard from 11am until 5pm. There’s easy access to Hackney Downs station.
