Williamsburg is where you’ll find the crème de la crème of New York’s young, successful indie-set. That new, craft-brewery- concept-store you’ve heard so much about? That bakery whose tagline is something like, “bespoke pastries?” Probably on Bedford Ave, or, in this case, North 8 th Street. Perched on the fourth floor and overlooking the shoulder of Bedford, this office space is the perfect lookout.
Tourists come to buy (and taste) a bit of Williamsburg cool through the likes of jewelry stores like Catbird, or artisan coffee temples like Blue Bottle. This is also one of the epicenters for both pricier vintage and more low-key thrift store shopping, so expect a blend of local hipsters with everything from a solid 401K, to the guy selling macramé owls out of his van. Get there easily by Citi Bike, or via the Bedford Avenue stop on the L train.
You’re in-between Eight &Driggs Wine and Liquours, Brooklyn Winery, and Seeka Jewlery and Judaica. Unwind across the street at M N D F L Williamsburg meditation studio, or down the block at the corner dive bar, Roebling Sporting Club.
The layout is extremely open, which means you’ll have to favor an open co-working/office space philosophy.
