One of the prettiest neighborhoods in Brooklyn, Park Slope is full of great boutiques, amazing brunch spots, and this former bank building on 5th Avenue that's being transformed into a retail space for rent.
Park Slope is seen by outsiders as a neighborhood full of families, where new parents push strollers up and down the tree-lined streets. However that stereotype isn’t fully deserved, as popping into one of the many bars and restaurants will show. Locals check out live music at Barbes, sip a microbrew at Threes Brewing, or dine on Southern Food at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que. The N and R trains at Union St. are an avenue over.
Union Hall, a wonderful music and comedy bar is next door, and Uncle Louie G Italian Ices is across the street. Littlefield, which also hosts concerts and comedy nights is nearby, as is The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, and cocktail bar Blueprint.
The building is really big and needs some work before it's ready for retail, but it's a great location and the space is unique.
