Nice is the biggest airport in the South of France and brings in travellers from 100 destinations across the world. Luxury holiday destinations such as Cannes, St Tropez and Monaco are only a short drive or helicopter ride away. From glamorous holiday makers to high-powered businessmen, this is a wealthy crowd. The average basket spend is €149 and the majority of travellers are between 35 and 55 years old.
Nice Airport’s main shopping area is named La Promenade, and the many flavours and scents of Provence are found in popular brands such as La Tarte Tropézienne, L’Occitane and Fragonard. They sit alongside prestigious fashion houses like Hermès and Max Mara. Pop ups are a regular fixture in the airport and previous brands have included Villebrequin, Wolford, Hédiard, Kusmi Tea, Essie and Aix & Terra.
Operating hours: from the first to the last flight of the day.
The brand must cover all setting up, rental and operation costs.
Check-in and check-out has to be done with the on-site operator.
Space must be kept clean during occupation and left in its previous condition.
After installation of the pop-up, the holder will send to the Department of Commerce and Services a Regulatory Verification Report after work (RVRAT), without reservation, issued by a control office certifying the conformity of the installation (electricity, security, accessibility. ..). After receiving this document, the airport security service will, after inspection of the installation, give its opinion on the opening of the pop up.
You’ll be in front of a discerning crowd, so be sure to offer a product or experience of exceptional quality to capture the attention of passersby.
