A Little About This Space

Holborn Viaduct used to be home to the world’s first ever coal-fired power station, but nowadays the street is lined with restaurants, cafes and sandwich shops to fuel the area’s multitude of workers. In the shadow of the Old Bailey and seconds away from City Thameslink, this corner F&B space to let includes kitchen equipment, has permission for outdoor seating, and will place you and your foodie idea in one of London’s busiest spots.

THE CROWD

You’re less than a minute walk from the Holborn Viaduct entrance to City Thameslink, which is used by over six million commuters every year, so expect plenty of passersby during the morning rush hour and lots of lunchtime traffic. You’ll see tourists coming to take photos of the Old Bailey’s iconic Lady of Justice statue, but it’s mainly lawyers, bankers and suit-sporting office workers that you’ll see here. Weekday mornings, lunchtimes and evenings are the busiest times, weekends are much quieter but the weekly trade makes up for this.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS

You’ll be next to Ribon Japanese restaurant – popular for bento boxes at lunchtime and karaoke in the evenings. Opposite is St Sepulchre-without-Newgate, the largest parish church in the City. St Pauls station is also less than 5 minutes away.
