A destination of luxury retail and cutting-edge design

The Miami Design District is the place where people come to spend on high-end food, furniture and fashion. Over the last fifteen years, the vision of local developer Craig Robins, in collaboration with a carefully-curated roster of architects, artists and brands, transformed ten blocks of neglected buildings into the popular shopping destination it is today.

A modern, sleek aesthetic distinguish the ten blocks of Miami’s Design District from its more urban surroundings. The pièce de resistance is the Buckminster Fuller Fly’s Eye Dome, a specially-commissioned sculpture of fiberglass spheres that anchors the main strip of the Design District: Paseo Ponti.

While the neighborhood is one of Miami’s smallest, every square inch packs a punch of modernity and luxury. Home to international names in fashion and design, such as Celine, Dior, Hermès and Prada, which sit alongside a handful of homegrown boutique brands and culinary concepts from well-known Miami talent, including fashion designer Simonett Pereira of Simonett and Chef Michael Shwartz of Michael’s Genuine.
