The Five at Five: Charlotte Williams

26 août 2021

From hidden-gems to places to people-watch, from bookshops to beauty spots – The Five at Five offers some post-lockdown inspiration that celebrates the independents.

It’s the final week of Black Business Month, and so this week’s selection has been curated by diversity and inclusion influencer marketing agency SevenSix founder, Charlotte Williams, who works closely with many Black entrepreneurs.

Charlotte started a blog in 2010, a travel journal, which consequently introduced her to the world of influencer marketing. Blogging was always her side hustle while working full-time in her role as Events and Marketing Manager under Sharmadean Reid, at Wah Nails.

Fast forward a decade and Charlotte launched SevenSix Agency, an influencer marketing agency that truly encompasses her experience in this industry. Charlotte also writes a newsletter to help grow female entrepreneurs and small businesses, as well as to promote her sustainability-focused podcast, Sustainably Influenced.

FOR DRINKS
I love the Sanderson Hotel Bar for after-work drinks, Kettner’s for after-hours drinks and Balans for when it’s 3am and I’m just not done.

For date night, it has to be Little Mercies in Crouch End – the service is incredible and the drinks are delicious. Their non-alcoholic cocktails are hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. Would highly recommend the alcohol-free gin and tonic.

FOR PEOPLE-WATCHING
100% my office on Frith Street. We spot a celeb from our window every day without fail.

FOR BOOKS
I actually buy most of my books from charity shops. The Oxfam Book Shop in Crouch End is amazing.

FOR WELLNESS
I go to Skn Doctor for life-changing facials, Lauren Ashleigh for nails, and Rachel Pitman for the best brows in town (and possibly the world).

FOR SHOPPING
I’m not much of a shopper these days but when I was younger, and used to go to Milan a lot for work, I would be in my element!

London also has everything you could ever need – between Oxford St., Westfield White City and the By Rotation showroom, you’re sorted for any occasion.
