Janis Studios

Janis Munz’s designs, such as the Darka Bag, have become an Instagram pheneonomen. Designed with a Parisian flair, these bags are ethically made in Manhattan’s Garment District with close oversight from the designer herself. Between their sleek style and interchangeable handles (think silver chain, gold hoops, and nautical rope), these pieces are fit for any occasion. You can check out the bags at a new holiday pop-up featuring Janis Studios as well as other cutting edge brands like OFFTRACK. These two brands in particular are certain to bring a piece of the Parisian holiday charm to the streets of Manhattan.

You’ll leave the Choose Love pop-up empty handed — and for good reason. In this store, you’ll buy gifts — from sleeping bags to toiletries to school supplies — to be given to refugees across Europe and the Middle East. Customers simply walk into the shop, buy an item and the charity then guarantees to give it to a refugee who is either in the process of escaping a dangerous country or trying to rebuild their lives in a new one. It’s the best gift you could give this Christmas.
