A Little About This Space

Islington's Upper Street is home to London's longest stretch of trendy restaurants, coffee shops and bars – including Oldroyd, 69 Colebrooke Row and Ottolenghi. And serving as the landing point is Angel station, famously known for having the longest escalators on the London Underground network. Angel station’s ground-level ticket hall (the unpaid side) offers an open experiential and activation space for you to rent and attract passing commuters.

THE CROWD

Serving the Northern line (the second busiest on the Underground), Angel station attracts around 60,000 daily visitors and over 20 million annual visitors. Apart from being popular with young families, Islington attracts a host of young professionals in their 20s and 30s who come to wine and dine after work, or come for brunch, a coffee and a browse in the shops on weekends.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS

This station is surrounded by office buildings, including RBS next door. A flower stall stands proudly outside the station archways and right across from the station are Boots and Pret A Manger.
