Baker Street is one of London’s – if not Britain’s – most famous roads. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s masterpiece, Sherlock Holmes, was based at 221B. In real life, Marks & Spencer was headquartered here up until recently and Madame Tussauds wax museum remains a fixture along the street.
