Around the corner from Redchurch Street, this gated mews in Shoreditch houses an arty community of craftsmen, designers and hairdressers. This Grade II listed space is used by womenswear designer Colenimo (as seen in Vogue, Monocle and Grazia) on Sundays, and is available as a shop to let for a cool fashion brand from Monday to Saturday.
Creatives from the area’s agencies head here for Cleve Hair and Shoreditch Nails during the week. With Redchurch Street at the end of the road (and the boutique Boundary hotel), you’ll spot a larger crowd of tourists and locals on weekends, as they come here for brands like A.P.C. and Aesop. Shoreditch High Street station is five minutes’ walk away.
You’ll be in between Charlie Borrow’s leather workshop and Japanese barber Asashi, whose celebrity clients include Nick Cave and Cara Delevingne, among others. Yoga studio Wholistica holds classes a few doors down.
The space must be cleared every Saturday evening so Colenimo can set up shop on Sundays. Brands can move in on Monday.
The space is available to rent for a minimum of one day and a maximum of six days at a time.
You’ll be set off the main road here, so it can be a little quiet during the week. Some signs on Boundary Street or even Redchurch Street around the corner could help let people know you’re here.
