Space rules
1. Space Use
The hirer may only use the event space specified in the contract. Entrances and shared areas must remain clear at all times.

2. Sales & Licensing
THE BUILDING IS NOT LICENSED. The hirer is responsible for obtaining any necessary licences or approvals, including a Temporary Events Notice if applicable.
No ticket sales or sales of food or alcohol are permitted.
Food and alcohol may only be served free of charge.

3. Supervision & Conduct
The space must be supervised at all times while open to the public.
No smoking, vaping, open flames, candles, incense, spray paint, or illegal substances are allowed.

4. Decorations & Installations
All decorations and technical installations must be pre-approved and meet fire safety regulations.
Window vinyls may be installed, but existing Bomb Factory vinyls must not be altered or obstructed.

5. Lighting
Existing lighting will remain in place.
It can be tilted where possible, but not removed or disconnected.
Filters may be used if they do not damage the lights.
Additional plug-in lighting is permitted.

6. Equipment & Furniture
Venue equipment, tools, and furniture must not be used without prior written consent.
TBFAF’s storage areas must not be accessed or disturbed.

7. Insurance & Risk
The hirer must provide proof of £2 million public liability insurance.
A risk assessment and any necessary content/trigger warnings must be submitted in advance.
TBFAF is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of the hirer’s property.

8. Restoration & Cleaning
The hirer is responsible for returning the space in its original condition, including filling, sanding, and repainting walls if required.
Cleaning and restoration charges will apply if the space is not returned as found.
