Bermondsey Street is one of London’s trendiest spots, rich in eateries and cultural hangouts,
making it a local favourite. Amongst independent businesses, green spaces and even a
museum, there’s also the historic Friday market. This modern, minimal shop to let is across
two floors and would be ideal for pop-up galleries, sample sales, yoga studios or invite-only
events.
It's fair to say that Bermondsey Street is a bit of a foodie paradise. Locals and tourists alike
are spoiled by an eclectic mix of restaurants, from Italian and Spanish to French and
Japanese. Further up is Tanner Street Park, with tennis courts and tree-lined paths,
attracting an active crowd. Meanwhile, the weekly Bermondsey Antique Market (a three-
minute walk) and the Fashion and Textile Museum (designed by renowned Mexican artist, Ricardo Legorreta) will keep culture lovers on the edge of their seats. It’s not easy to get bored here, and if somehow you do, London Bridge station is a 9-minute walk away.
Down the road from The Shard and Borough Market, this space is tucked away just next to the White Cube Gallery. Next door is the quirky coffee shop, Fuckoffee, and a few doors down is the Last Talisman, a cool bar serving creative cocktails. You’ll also share the street with local favourite Pizarro
and the Woolpack pub; the beer garden is ideal for after-work drinks.
